KCBS 2/KCAL 9 Denied Entrance to Public ABCUSD Board Meeting

Yes, it's true, KCBS 2 / KCAL 9 reporter Stacy Butler and her cameraman were denied entrance into last night ABCUSD school board meeting.  Even though it was a public meeting, and there was media inside, including Los Cerritos Newspaper editor Jerry Bernstein, Butler was held at bay by a security guard with strict orders not to let them into the meeting.  So much for freedom of the press.  So what do the ABCUSD school board members and superintendent Dr. Mary Sieu have to hide?  And why would they block entrance to the media of a public taxpayer funded meeting.  Inquiring minds would like to know.

  1. A lot because I spoke with the security guard on camera and told him he was violating 1st Amendment Rights. He started yelling about being in the Army for 30 years, special forces and then he said "BACK OFF" in a very intimidating way. I said to him you just threatened me. Funny, this man said he protected the Constitution for 30 years in the Army and in a couple minutes took our nation to the level of so many tin horn dictatorships around the world, by trampling on the same Constitution he said he loves and protected.
